Key Responsibilities:


  • Testing of power supply hardware and firmware.
  • Study and implement the test methods for switch mode power supply ranging from 100W to 5kW.
  • Program/Prepare design verification test procedures and processes.
  • Perform evaluations base on IEC/EN test standards.
  • Prepare and release test report.
  • Understand IEC/EN Compliance for industrial power supply.
  • Operate with various test equipment
  • EMI (conducted and radiated), power analyser, surge and transient test machines, hipot, thermal/humidity chambers and Chroma ATE/ATS system.

Requirements:


  • Degree/Diploma in Electronic & Electrical Engineering with minimum 35 years (610 years for senior position) of relevant experiences in Power Electronics or relevant industries.
  • Good knowledge in various power converters.
  • Experience in CISPR/FCC tests.
  • Experience in programming ATE equipment, interface and firmware tests.
  • Knowledge on design quality.
  • Knowledge on EN test standards and criterion.
  • Experience in engineering test for power supply such as fault tests, over current and over voltage tests.
