Royal Ocean Marine is seeking a Junior Shipbroker to join our client's team. As a Junior Shipbroker, you will focus on the chemical tanker market and play a crucial role in supporting our brokerage activities. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is passionate about the maritime industry and eager to develop a career in shipbroking.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Senior Shipbrokers in market research and analysis
• Identify and explore potential business opportunities in the chemical tanker market
• Support in the negotiation and execution of charter contracts
• Maintain relationships with clients, charterers, and other stakeholders
• Provide excellent customer service and assist clients with their chartering needs
• Prepare market reports and presentations
• Stay updated on market trends, industry news, and regulatory changes affecting the chemical tanker market

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field
• Previous experience in a shipbroking role or internship is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the shipbroking industry
• Operation in chemical tankers operation or chartering or shipbrokering is an added advantage
