- To offer transition management and equity index replication expertise.
- To offer derivatives execution expertise in terms of suitability of instruments used, premiums/ discounts to theoretical prices, derivatives rolls.
- To test and provide input into enhancement of AIAIM's equity and derivatives trading systems, including the inclusion of electronic trading platforms.
- Monitor news flows and market activities and provide feedback to portfolio managers.
- Keep abreast on latest trading practices and tools in the market and promote internally as appropriate.
- Handle administrative tasks in relation to trading such as regular trade performance review meetings
- To produce and keep regular trading records in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Maintain a good relationship with counterparties and conduct broker evaluation.
- University graduate in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields. Postgraduate degree holder preferred
- 8 to 10 years' experience working in a trading and dealing operational environment.
- At least 5 years' experience dealing with solid working knowledge of Asia ex-Japan equities markets, stock exchanges
- Data analytics and Python programming skills would be an advantage
- Solid technical background and ability to use front office dealing systems.
- Keen interest in technology adoption in the trading arena.
- Astutely compliance and regulatory aware.

- Able to establish constructive working relationships with investment team across AIA platforms.
