- Work closely with public cloud and managed service providers to deliver the projects requested from internal business units.
- Clarify cloud requirements with internal business units, provide solution architecture and cost estimation, and implement the solution after budget approval.
- Manage and monitor cloud accounts from a technical perspective, performance monitoring, and operations on cloud infrastructure across the region.
- Work with our internal security team to manage and monitor the cloud resources base on their requirements.
- Process internal troubleshooting tickets, and provide 2nd level escalation support to troubleshoot and solve challenging operational issues in a complex environment.
- Build and maintain the inventory of cloud resources through cloud API.
- Liaise with providers and internal business units for problem resolution and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related subject.
- Proven working experience in cloud operations with a strong customer focus.
- Proven hands-on experience on the Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of Google Cloud security service.
- Good understanding of networking and routing fundamentals, common network equipment, network protocols, and network operations & maintenance.
- Experience with UNIX/LINUX system, including hands-on experience in system configuration and troubleshooting. Being RHCSA/RHCE certified is a plus.
- Experience with VMware, OpenStack, or other Open source technologies is a plus.
- Experience in container management and orchestration tools such as Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with GKE is a big plus.
- Familiar with Terraform/Ansible, and Python/Go programming knowledge is a plus.
- Passionate in technology and eager to learn further.
- Excellent communication skills and people skills with a focus on cross-team collaboration.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin due to regional coverage.
