Material Handling System Designer - Singapore - BNP ASSOCIATES, INC. (SINGAPORE BRANCH)

Description

Our Designers work closely with Project Managers to act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and BNP internal teams.

The Designer can have a variety of responsibilities based on their incoming experience and BNP's needs, including production of Building Information Models (BIM), drawing package development, system simulations, flight schedule analysis, and field work encompassing on-site analyses such as inspections, surveys, product approvals, and equipment tests.

The Designer is also responsible for developing design reports and specification documents for client submittal as the project progresses.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in designing Baggage Handling System (BHS), Air Cargo Handling System (CHS) or Postal Handling System.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Dynamo coding/Process and Vehicle Tracking software
• Experienced in discreteevent simulation modelling software such as Simio.
• Experienced in 3D model visualization software such as Unity3D and Unreal Engine.
• Proficient in developing high level element creation (Family creation) for Material Handling System
• Proficient with Revit software to develop detail system layout design.
• Experience in using Revit to combine various models in BIM 360 and perform clash detection analysis.
• Proficient is using Navisworks Manager software for presentation to clients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Python for data analysis
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Mandarin language
• Experience in carrying system testing and commissioning
• Member of an engineering society, such as IMechE, ASME, CILT, etc.
