Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve PV system issues; modules, inverters, and all system components to ensure maximum system performance.
Coordinate and prepare submission of documents (e.g. MSRA, Work Instructions etc.).
Plan and coordinate on the maintenance progress & schedule and ensure timely completion.
Assist O&M Manager in PV maintenance activities.
Coordination with technical/engineering resources/contractors/authorities for the execution of the PV maintenance work.
Provide technical support during PV maintenance works.
Ensure safety and quality of the PV maintenance works.
Participate in root cause analyses.
Participate in safety programmes.
Lead a team to carry out improvement projects.
Other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

Academic Level:
Bachelor or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering

Required Professional experience: 4-6 years of electrical engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in solar installation projects (C&I and HDB) and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic systems.

Specific knowledge:

Strong knowledge of quality standards for DG photovoltaic projects (rooftops, ground mount, and floating PV) and the related standards or codes of practices (e.g.

SS / TR, IEC, EN, BS).

Skills / Competencies:
Problem Solving Skills / Strong communication and project management skills. Excellent presentation skills. Strong integrity, morals and ethics.

Languages:
Proficient in English. Any additional languages would be an advantage.
