Tug Operation Officer - Singapore - SEATRIUM (SG) PTE. LTD.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Communicates with Tug Controllers to ensure the right Tugs deployed for the right jobs and to double up as Tug controllers when needed
• Manages tugboat Bunkering Operations
• Joint inspection of tugboat operating system to ensure all in working order
• Ensures tugboats are manned with qualified, medically fit and suitable experienced seafarers in accordance with the relevant national and international manning requirements.
• Assists personnel matters (contacting crew's families) during emergency situation
• Liaises / coordinates with Vessel, Manning Agent, Immigration Officers, for crew change arrangement.
• Handles crew P&I cases
• Arranges crews' transportation, PPE, SMART Card. Arrange crew IPA application with HR, MPA crew flag state certificate application; COE application.
• Updates/ Maintains Crew List/ Flag State List, Crew Personal File,
• Manning of Crew Change File

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Maritime Business/ Nautical Studies
• Must have MPA Port Limit Helmsman certificate
• Preferably 1 years' experience in maritime operations or Tugboats / Crew scheduling and deployment will be advantageous
• Knowledge and experience in port agency and management will be advantageous
