Description

The Campus Minister/Youth Worker is someone who is called to mentor and help students discover and develop their callings and gifts by encouraging, equipping them to be fruitful disciple-makers and leaders.

The Youth Worker will assist the Campus Pastor and work collaboratively with other ministry leaders to do campus outreach, student discipleship and leadership development.

• Engage students by establishing friendships and presence on campus
• Be a role model to students as a servant leader
• Mentor and empower students in areas of leadership, integrity, faith and excellence
• Provide spiritual mentoring to students
• Minister to the students' felt needs
• Help connect and assimilate new students to church or a youth group, and developing an effective plan for followup
• Plan and organize programs for students and followup strategies
• Pan and coordinate weekly campus service
• Help with campus events logistic

• Demonstrated character of integrity, credibility and ethics
• Experience working with people of different races and backgrounds
• Able to communicate and relate well with people of different cultures and nationalities
• Experience in youth/campus work and in discipling students
• Able to work well with people and in teams
• Caring, compassionate and able to make wise and prudent decisions
• Degree in any discipline
