- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server (2012 and above), Oracle Administration and/or Development.
- Good knowledge on Database architecture & design
- Technical understanding of software builds and deployment together with relevant tools (i.e., PowerShell, Git, DevOps etc.).
- Knowledge on infrastructure components (i.e., Virtualization, Network, Load Balancers, SAN), and commercial cloud AWS.
- Experience supporting a 24x7 high-availability production systems will be advantageous.
- Software development experience (any programming language) will be advantageous.
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Have service excellence attitude.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team with minimal supervision.

Position Summary
This is Oracle or MSSQL Administrator and Programmer (Application DBA), and the engineer will work closely with Senior Application DBA and application teams on managing and implementing databases deliverables.
Role and Responsibilities:
. Database Administration:
o Install, configure, and maintain MSSQL and Oracle database systems.
o Monitor database performance, ensure high availability, and implement necessary optimizations.
o Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
o Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and security management.
o Implement and enforce data integrity and security protocols.
. Database Programming:
o Develop, optimize, and maintain database-driven applications using MSSQL and Oracle.
o Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
o Collaborate with software developers to integrate database functionality into applications.
o Ensure database code adheres to best practices and coding standards.
o Participate in database design and schema development.

o Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in database systems.
