Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for end-user computers or computing peripherals on software installation, upgrade, virus protection, server setup, network, and firewall configuration.
  • Resolve technical issues promptly using available resources for end-user computers, servers, and network devices.
  • Perform IT maintenance, monitoring of servers, networking, and storage, including system health and security measures.
  • Draft IT policies or directives for new IT and security implementations.
  • Equip end-user computers to meet engineering specifications with cost-effective solutions.
  • Align with HQ on IT-related implementations, issues, and configurations.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Diploma or ITE with a minimum of 5 years of working experience.
  • Knowledge in IT network, server configuration, personal computer set-up, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Windows command prompts and IP address configurations for troubleshooting.
  • Additional knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI), computer language programming, cloud computing, geospatial & mobile innovation, and cybersecurity is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English & Mandarin to interact with HQ counterparts.
  • Effective team player with the potential to lead discussions and projects.
