    Description
    This position offers candidates an exciting opportunity to be exposed to diverse fields within corporate communications and media management. From crafting effective communications that resonate with target groups, to conceptualising and bringing media campaigns to life, the individual will work within a dynamic and professional team, driven to deliver results.

    Responsibilities

    Strategise and shape communications
    • Shape effective corporate communications through writing articles and advertorials for cross-platform communications
    • Craft speeches and media releases for optimal impact
    • Conceptualise creative news angles, perform media management functions and network with reporters
    • Track media mentions and measure ROI

    Amplify the organisational brand
    • Shape brand stories that amplify stakeholder voices
    • Identify and craft impactful stories of the organisation's efforts
    • Research and copywrite for marketing and online platforms

    Oversee collateral publication
    • Oversee the production of publications and collateral
    • Undertake editorial work and coordinate inter-divisional information collation
    • Create basic collaterals for outreach
    Conceptualise and implement marketing strategies
    • Work within the team to develop innovative and integrated communications and marketing campaigns
    • Identify key marketing platforms and target groups to promote SINDA programmes

    Requirements
    • A Diploma/Degree in mass communications/journalism/media communications, with at least two-years' relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
    • Strong knowledge of local media industry, with relevant media contacts
    • Knowledge of publication, production or design software will be an added advantage
    • Able to work independently and in a team
    • Good organisational and time-management skills
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders across various levels.
    • Strong communication, business writing skills and knowledge of Tamil to create/oversee content for vernacular platforms.
    Flexible to work on weekday evenings and weekends and in outdoor settings, when required
    Able to participate in SINDA-wide events, as required

    Note: Candidates will be required to undertake a written test, as part of their interview

    This is a 2- year contract position, convertible to a permanent role subject to the performance and divisional requirements.
