Description
This is a newly created role predominantly responsible for implementing and managing key Specialty Personal Lines (SPL) accounts. This includes but is not limited to device, purchase protection and cyber.

This individual would assist in SPL deal management, including developing proposals and assisting with the implementation of deals, plus the optimization of existing accounts.


Their focus will be on primarily regional deals, but will also provide high-level support to markets with limited SPL product experience or capability.

They will provide training to local country teams to ensure appropriate distribution of key product and implementation knowledge. They will work closely with Regional Product, Distribution and Technology teams. Country engagement is critical and they will work closely with Consumer Lines country managers and product owners.


The individual within the role will typically begin involvement in business development pipeline when deals are in late-stage (e.g., during final negotiations, post RFP).

This position reports directly to the APAC Head of SPL and Residential.


Responsibilities:


  • Implement and monitor new programs, including coordination across key functions (Claims, IT, Operations, etc. in the development of infrastructure and necessary processes.
  • Account management for implemented programs where regional support is still necessary, particularly in countries without defined SPL resource.
  • Assist countries in developing and implementing robust processes and governance practices for SPL in the region
  • Campaign Management work with the distribution team to identify, report on and negotiate, new campaigns to optimize growth and maximize profit.
  • Management Reporting ensure a timely and accurate flow of data reporting is established across all countries, region, and COG. This includes working with the key functional group to develop management information reporting tools to assist in managing the business.
  • Responsible for development and training of local market SPL resources, or parttime resources responsible for deal execution.

Requirements:


  • At least 6 years of Account Management / Partnership experience required. This role is a blend of acquiring new accounts (approx 50%) and optimising existing accounts (approx 50%)
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Experience in an insurance / financial services / insurance partners environment
  • Previous experience working in a regional office environment would be an advantage
  • Ability to travel regionally on 25% to 30% per year
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with a large diverse group of stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work within multiple time zones and a matrix environment
