Responsibilities:

Planning and execution of regional and international specialty chemical production projects with the focus on instrumentation/process control
Coordination and supervision of engineering services (internal/external) during the planning and construction phase
Independent planning and design of field devices, interface

- and fieldbus systems and automation systems

Responsibility for and implementation of Functional Safety concepts
Responsibility for costs, schedule and technical functionality within investment projects
Close collaboration with engineers of different disciplines from projects and operation (e.g. electrical engineering and process safety)
Collaboration within a global network of instrumentation/process control experts

Requirements:

Successfully completed studies (Bachelor/Master/PhD) in the field of electrical engineering, automation, physics or similar studies with the focus on process control
Previous work experience in the petrochemical/pharmaceutical/specialty chemical industries (~10 years)
Existing experience in international investment projects
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken (German is a plus)
Committed and loyal team member, which represents high selfmotivation, flexibility and creativity
Interest in being part of a global working group
Willingness for international business travel
