Description

Qualification:
Degree or diploma in Machanical Engineering from a recognised university

Additional qualification:
Conversant with API 620, API 650, API 653 standards in addition to ASME, ASNT etc, for the storage tank building

Experience:

At least 8 years relevant experience in the construction of API storage tanks using conventional and hydraulic jack systems of various volumes.


Clear understanding of the engineering design of tank drawings and able to manage team of workmen in the in-site construction of welded steel tanks including various in-process testing and hydrolic / pneumatic testing.

Must be able to resolve technical glitches and problem solving during the course of action.

Able to make Project planning such as resources and schedules in accordance with relevant standards.

Work instructions and SOPs for various erection and test activities in accordance with relevant standards and codes.

Review engineering drawings attending meeting with client on design and technical clarification etc.

Managing a team of supervisory personnel and coordination with client for day to day site activities.

Able to work under sun & shine at worksites in order to execute the construction activities.
