About the Team

PwC SEAC's Digital Cloud Data vision is to create meaningful relationships with our clients by powering the next generation digital enterprise.

As a Data Engineering Lead, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues by understanding the business strategy and create the data strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this level include but are not limited to:

• To drive business in the area of Data & AI
• To be workstream lead in project delivery or be technical project manager in project delivery
• Review code written by data engineer and to look for optimization
• Skills development to the juniors
• Developing proposal with the team and conducting demo / workshop
• Drive and take ownership for developing connections that help deliver what is best for our people and stakeholders.
• Influence and facilitate the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm.
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

About You

Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in Engineering design recommendations, including the following areas:

• Atleast 6 to years of experience in designing data platform, data engineering pipelines, data model and data governance.
• Have been involved in pre-sales stage to understand requirements, design the solution, proposal making and tender presentation plus demo
• At least 5 years in handling Databricks related projects.
• Evaluating cloud application or cloud data platform requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications.
• Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications.
• Leading architectural and engineering reviews of proposed solution
• Providing seasoned advice on application solutions including assisting with planning and architectural design, development, resolution of technical issues, and application rationalization and,
• Must be certified in any of the cloud service provider solution architect
• Must have completed at least 5 life cycle of Databricks project
• Mandatory to know and done projects leveraging on PySpark or Spark languages
