Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project

The Technology and Operations function is comprised teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore, Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working Singapore to support the FARTECH domain as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

• Responsibilities:

o Attending impact assessment sessions, and actively participate in reviews with the subject matter experts in Finance Technology.
o Perform impact analysis on the existing system functionalities with respect to the new proposed changes.
o Discuss with requestors to gather and ascertain requirements
o Development/SIT Testing/ UAT Support/Implementation
o Work with users on the requirements/clarifications and attending to UAT queries
o Help to prepare the FS documents and walkthrough the functional specifications with requestors
o Assisting the Stream Lead in the delivery of the project and on the coordination with various stakeholders.
o Step in as a Technical Delivery Manager to manage the end to end delivery of the assignment, when demanded.
o Deliver the project / tasks within the committed timelines.
o Maintain the risks and issues tracker and see them to closure.

• Mandatory Skills Description:

• 3 to 6 years of Base SAS programming AND/OR Informatical is essential.

• A Bachelor or Maser degree in Computer Science, Statistic, Information Technology and relevant discipline from reputable institutions

• Knowledge of Treasury Products and Core Banking Products is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Intraday liquidity reporting using SWIFT messages is an advantage.

• Working experience in BMC control-M Enterprise batch job scheduling software is essential.

• Linux shell scripting is essential.

• Base SAS programming is essential.

• Technical hands on experience with SAS Viya and SAS 9.4M8 is essential.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proactive to work in a fast-paced environment to deliver and meet the deadlines

• Highly resourceful, self-motivated, and conscientious with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• End-user focused and empathetic

• Experience with data analytics and visualization

• Up to 3 years of relevant experience in Informatica Power Center (ETL) - (Designer, Repository Manager, Workflow Manager), OBIEE, ETL tools, Oracle 12 / 19c (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL) and strong Data Analytical skills

• Strong on DW Fundamentals, concepts

• Understands and review technical requirements, designs ETL process flow and walkthroughs and performs data profiling of required source systems.

• Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Treasury Products and Core Banking Products

• Knowledge of Intraday liquidity reporting using SWIFT messages
