Our client is an international consultancy with operations throughout the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Australia.

The company offers a range of services to its clients in the construction industry including contractual, commercial, claims, dispute resolution and forensic planning.

They are currently recruiting the following


Senior Delay Consultants - Singapore

Key Responsibilities:


  • Review the project circumstances and understand the background to the delay against clients.
  • Review the programme and progress updates to understand where the delays arose from and the critical paths.
  • Identify the causes of delay and investigate the background to the causes of delay.
  • Establish the link between cause and effect, demonstrating excusable delay days.
  • Establish entitlement under the contract to extension of time.
  • Selection of a method of delay analysis that takes into account the terms and conditions of the contract, the status of the works and the records available.
  • Undertake delay analysis and drafting of extension of time claims documents.
  • Assist prolongation cost claim and preparing narrative in relation to extension of time.
  • Generate contractual correspondence relating to issues of the delay.
  • Lead and preside negotiations with clients to agree upon disputed matters.
  • Providing training on delay analysis to staff.

Qualifications:


  • Preferred having at least 10 years' experience in the construction field including planning & scheduling, EOT claims, negotiations, and dispute resolutions such as DAB, arbitrations and/or litigations.
  • Preferred having more than 10 years of experience, especially in delay analysis & EOT claims realm, who is dexterous at various delay analysis methods.
  • Preferred who is good at analysing concurrent delay and quantifying delay effect'
  • Proficient skills at demonstrating and proving EOT claims through the claims documents.
  • Experience in leading EOT claim/dispute management and negotiation.
  • At least a bachelor's degree
  • Extensive knowledge of various types of contract forms.
  • Excellent social skills to be highly adaptable to the EOT section team and project team as they will have to work closely daily basis to provide the Services and to guide and advise them.
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly for preparing claim documents; and
  • Excellent oral communication skills for facetoface negotiation.

Pay:
$10, $20,000.00 per month
