    Description

    Position Summary

    This position will support the Regional Head of Device to drive profitable growth in Asia Pacific International Personal Lines portfolio through undertaking and providing guidance on risk assessment, product development and pricing. This role will contribute to the product development and innovation for the APAC region, as well as strengthening the Device product framework across APAC.

    Responsibilities

  • Supporting the formulation and implementation of strategies through analysis of competitive position, marketplace dynamics, pricing segmentation, profile trending and exposure level analysis.
  • Creation of product, monitoring of uptake and working with local countries to enhance or roll out the Personal Lines Device strategy.
  • Developing data and analytics that support profit and loss for the LOB and providing detailed analysis of product performance and growth.
  • Qualifications

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in product development work in the device protection field (insurance or assurance models)
  • Experience with internal stakeholder management, including training and influence.
  • APAC market experience required
  • Skills & Technical Knowledge

  • Technical knowledge in device protection products, including the development of and distribution of insurance and assurance products
  • Clear understanding of different regulatory markets across APAC
  • Proven analytical skills necessary to ensure portfolio is managed to deliver acceptable results
  • Insurance pricing skills, based on market statistics and company experience data.
  • Able to build and understand P&L to support business case.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Has effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills along with the ability to plan organize and prioritized, whilst working in a constant changing environment
