    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    1. End-to-end ownership (design, define, and deliver) of the Core Banking platform release management.
    2. Provisioning of the technical environments necessary for proper testing, dress rehearsals, and final cutover events.
    3. Planning and execution of large software releases, holding accountability for coordination of all the parties involved.
    4. Run the demand management forums with Project Directors, Delivery Leads, ScrumMasters, and Delivery Guild.
    5. Identify technical skills and resources required for delivery from Environments Provisioning Team.
    6. Coordinate with Leads for resourcing.
    7. Liaise with all teams involved in testing and implementation of large software upgrades, i.e., service packs for Core Banking systems in use.
    8. Provide skills, coaching, and support to core banking delivery teams related to the processes and approvals involved in provisioning of technical environments.
    9. Provide skills, coaching, and direct support to the project teams, ensuring smooth handover from project mode to the BAU.
    10. Perform the Scrum Master role (where required) and lead the Environment Provisioning team in their sprint deliveries.
    11. Ensure deliveries adhere to standards and processes related to infra setup, application deployment, and data safety.
    12. Collaborate with project team members from various domains to monitor, develop, and execute project plans associated with project content.
    13. Manage multiple work-streams concurrently and effectively resolve issues or conflicts.
    14. Actively monitor and report progress to all stakeholders in a timely manner using a variety of formal communication channels.
    15. Deal with all project-related escalations and seek input and assistance from appropriate channels to resolve in a timely manner.

    Technical Requirements:

    1. Minimum years of experience and out of which, minimum 5+ years of release management using JIRA in CORE Banking.
    2. Managed Finacle 10.x/11.x and multi-countries and OPEN systems production environment.
    3. Good knowledge in various cloud supporting technologies to support the infrastructure for optimization (i.e., OpenShift, APIs, Kafka, VPC, GTM...).
    4. Hands-on Experience in Finacle Application (Core Banking) Server Capacity Monitoring and Optimization.
    5. Good level of command over production Infra; performance monitoring, and reporting tools.
    6. Good working experience in Elasticsearch, Logstash, Grafana/Kibana, AppDynamics, etc.
    7. Ideal hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting.
    8. Good Hands-on experience in PAAS (Platform as a Service) and not limited to AWS, Pivotal, OpenShift.

    Ideal Candidates should have:

    1. Governance of the environment lifecycle and assurance of its reliability.
    2. Environment will require regular data refresh (from PROD), batch runs, handling the inevitable infra/app-layer errors, etc.
    3. Team's goal is to orchestrate necessary activities among the parties involved.
    4. Skills required: IT infra and application architecture acumen, allowing for effective discussions with SMEs and ability to plan and execute the necessary tasks.
    5. Utilization of the environment for testing of the production changes.
    6. Environment will be used by hundreds of teams and projects. This implies the need to orchestrate the testing calendar, liaise between the change-owners, etc.
    7. Skills: process ownership experience, understanding of the testing area, ability to understand dependencies between testing scopes/projects/applications, etc., dashboarding, and pitching to senior management.
    8. Applications onboarding.
    9. While the main part of the environment will be built as part of an already running project, there will be a continuous need to onboard new systems and make them part of the environment.
    10. Skills: similar to "technical project manager" – ability to orchestrate between infra/middlelayer/application SMEs and ensure compliant and efficient process of adding new applications to the environment.
