Reporting to the training manager, our Marine division have an exciting opportunity to bring on board a Trainer/Auditor on a permanent basis at our Senoko, Singapore Site


You, as our Trainer Auditor will design and deliver service technician training across a range of technical disciplines, whilst providing deep specialist support and advice on a single Survitec service line.

You will be involved in all stages of the learning cycle, from training needs analysis, through to measurement of impact of training.


What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:


  • You will have deep knowledge of all steps in the training cycle, advising service managers and technicians appropriately on how to get the most from personal development opportunities
  • Work with Head of Service Operations to plans and review the service and skills mix needed across the Survitec and thirdparty network, determining the range and frequency of development training events needed to maintain service levels
  • Design appropriate training needs analysis; assesses current and future needs effectively; create training plans that meet Survitec and thirdparty technician training needs
  • Design and deliver effective training content; define and break down training topics into manageable building blocks, arranging these into training modules that can be delivered face to face or virtually, and assessed locally; work with training coordinator to produce and issue core support materials
  • Implement, drive and support appropriate competence assessment mechanisms; ensure service operations managers meet their requirement to assess competence according to schedule and standard; provide coaching and support to develop a network of skilled onjob assessors
  • Work with the training coordinator to maintain training records, issue and record certificates
  • Carry out training records audits, ensuring information held is up to date and accurate, flagging any requirements for refresher
  • When schedule allows, carry out service technician duties according to process and standard, demonstrating ongoing and up to date operational skills; take part in personal skills reviews and formal assessments to maintain own competence record
  • Utilise practical work experience to review and update key processes, standards and training content

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria:


  • 1+ years managerial experience
  • Educated to University Degree level or vocational equivalent
