Plant Technician - Singapore - ENEOS ITALSING PTE. LTD.

Description

***Reporting to the Operations Foreman or Supervisor in charge, the Plant Technician is responsible in carrying out one or more of following assignments within the production function.

a. Filling lines - Drum, small park and pail operations.

b. Wrapping palletizing operations.

c. Digitization projects

Plant Technician is responsible in setting up filling and quality checking equipment currently deployed for batch filling and to perform basic diagnostic of equipment to ensure efficient operation.

Plant Technician will assist Manager in charge to implement digitization project identified in filling line operations.

Plant Technician should adhere to safety in accordance to documented procedures and work instructions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out operations according to documented procedures and operating all plant equipment and facilities safely to meet production and quality targets in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Monitoring the process and making process decisions based on sound operating practices.
• Preparing equipment and facilities for handing over to maintenance and taking over from maintenance after its completion of maintenance work per Risk Assessment done.
• Carrying out first line equipment setting, maintenance repairs in order to minimise equipment downtime.
• Carrying out housekeeping & 5S at high standard.
• Drumming or Pail filling _
• Setting up the packaging line according to the Packaging Order (PKO)
• Setting up in line quality checking equipment and perform basic diagnostic to ensure proper functioning of checking equipment (eg Vision camera system). Communicate with supplier any remote maintenance or setting requirement.
• Sampling for final inspection by the laboratory
• Filling to the specified volume
• Stencilling markings as specified in the PKO
• Wrapping Palletizing operations _
• Familiar with operating functions on control panel of wrapping palletizing equipment for any setting adjustments.
• Perform diagnostic checking as required by communicating with supplier remotely to minimise downtime.
• To improve reliability of wrapping machine and feedback to supplier on any improvements on preventative maintenance.
• Carry out any digitization projects as required by Manager in charge data collection, system implementation and training users eg IOTs
