Reporting to the Managing Director, Business Development in Singapore, we are looking for someone to join the team in a leadership role to help support our business development activities in Singapore. Key Responsibilities include the following:
•Developing business with asset managers and asset owners across all aspects of asset servicing including fund administration, loan administration, custody, outsourcing, FX Overlay, banking & payments
•Working independently & owning the sales cycle from lead generation to closure of deals
•Create a prospect list and develop strategies to effectively engage those prospects
•Efficient use of Salesforce - log prospective clients, key influencers and logging of meeting notes
•Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and new products
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in Industry & Professional bodies
•Gather market insights and work closely with Product Development to ensure our offering is market leading.
•Communicate and collaborate with Line of Business Heads, Marketing and Operations team members
•Contribute to the team effort and work on special projects
Qualifications
•Experience working at a similar level in Fund Administration or Financial Services more broadly, with an interest in moving into business development
•Technical understanding of alternative investment types, structures and market participants
•Previous experience with alternative asset managers and FX Overlay to be considered favourable
