    As a Technology Support III team member in Payments Technology Team, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.

    Job responsibilities


    • Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm


    • Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availability


    • Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools


    • Identity issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders


    • Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure


    • Manage day to day issues including daily health checks of applications and processes, working closely with end users, development staff and Infrastructure teams, to prioritize and resolve and/or mitigate outages.


    • Monitor production activities/processes to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of problems to internal and external clients, technical resources, and executives.


    • Ensures information controls, back-up and recovery strategies are in place across all environments.


    • Implement continuous process improvement, including but not limited to policy, procedures, and production monitoring.


    • Develop and maintain relationships with technical staff, end users and clients.


    • Demonstrate creativity, innovation and high performance.


    • Design, code, test and deliver software to automate manual operational work (Kafka, Java etc)

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Engineering or related disciplines


    • Minimally 5 years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services


    • Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud


    • Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques


    • Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework


    • Expert in UNIX shell, Perl, Python, or similar scripting languages.


    • Knowledge of Dynatrace, Splunk and Geneos is added advantage


    • Experience supporting mission-critical in financial services industry, particularly in a merchant servicing environment or in payments, is a big plus.


    • Expert practitioner in one or more technology domains, may be a cross-domain expert, able to solve complex and mission critical problems within a business or across the firm


    • Experience in Unix or Stratus will be a plus


    • Experience working in cloud (AWS)
