    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Implement and maintain VMware virtualised environment including Hypervisors, Clusters, Networking, Datastore vSAN, Horizon, vSphere, vRA, vRO etc.
    • Design and implement solutions using Citrix XenApp, Citrix Virtual Apps, and VMware Horizon.
    • Automate routine operational tasks and develop dashboards for data visualisation.
    • Work with stakeholders to develop automations and integrations for the logging platform.
    • Migrate complex on-premises workloads to cloud providers with minimal downtime.
    • Provide L3 support to end-users for upgrades and migrations.
    • Troubleshoot VMware and Microsoft technologies using tools like Systrack, Splunk, and process monitors.
    • Manage incidents, involving multiple technologies, requiring collaboration across teams.
    • Utilise ticketing systems (BMC Remedy) and maintain incident/change management processes.
    • Possess strong communication skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Job Requirements

    • Advance knowledge on Microsoft Excel, formula, pivot, and data collation.
    • Advance scripting knowledge for inventory, reporting, log collection, remote debugging, and troubleshooting. PowerShell, PowerCLI, python, etc.
    • Expertise in migrating complex on-premises to cloud providers with minimal business downtime.
    • Knowledge of ITSM, the BMC Remedy ticketing system, and IBM Tivoli.
    • Knowledge of Splunk monitoring and reporting.
    • Scripting knowledge to query splunk, tanium, and SQL database.
    • Site design and automation on SharePoint, Tableau.
    • Knowledge of VMware modules to query and extract data from VMware eSXI, horizon connection server, vROPS.
    • VMware Products, VDI, Horizon view client/Agent – Vmware. Hypervisors, Clusters, Networking, Horizon connection server, vSphere, vRA, vRO.
    • Deep knowledge of tools for troubleshooting VMware and Microsoft technologies Systrack, Splunk, process mon, trace log collection, and dump log analysis.
    • Sound knowledge of the incident management process for large-scale organisation requiring multiple team engagement.
    • Experience in supporting end users in L3 capacity– Upgrade, Migration projects.
    • Customer-facing experience as a technical operations specialist, with strong oral and written communication skills, presenting to both large and small audiences.
    • Ability to handle incident and run triage involving multiple technologies. Virtualisation, OS, real-time communication, collaboration, Managed print services, and Mobility.
    • Certified Kubernetes Administrator
