Roles & Responsibilities

Your role

Our major Oil & Gas Downstream Client is looking for Project Engineer who will play a key role in verifying and validating implementation of safety processes and procedures that ensure Project Safety Plan and existing site SSH&E expectations are met during project execution.

You will be accountable for overall success of the plant you are assigned to throughout all phases of the project. You will support procurement activities, including in some cases materials requisitioning and expediting. You will coordinates interfaces with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical team and identify project issues and stewards appropriate actions to resolution

You will lead Change Management processes (project MOC and contract COs) and key issue/opportunity resolution plans for the assigned plant. You will also assist the Project Manager with Gate deliverables and serve as Point of Contact for Turnaround project scope.

You are what we are looking for if you:

• Have experience in multiple assignments in engineering, construction, and project management and controls activities in oil and gas industry, preferably downstream projects
• Have Bachelor's degree
• Have broad range of experience and skills through multiple function and project assignments (Multi-discipline skill set)
• Have broad knowledge of design standards, specifications & work processes
• Are able to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Have excellent communication skills and ability to read, write & speak fluent English
• Are proficient in MS Office suite of software programs
