Job Purpose and Impact

The Financial Director, Food Solutions APAC will provide strategic financial leadership to establish the vision and strategy of financial planning and analysis for the Cargill Food & Bioindustrial, Food Solutions APAC region and businesses.

In this role, you will lead a high performing team to provide insight into business profitability, value creation and growth opportunities through a deep understanding of the relationships between revenues, costs and balance sheets, and the portfolio of businesses and projects within the region.

You will also bring market perspective through effective and creative benchmarking, drive financial performance and growth, enable understanding of product and customer profitability and evaluate investment, acquisition and divestiture opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

Provide strategic partnership to the Food Solutions, APAC region, bringing perspective on varying aspects of the business strategy.

Direct the identification and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to create, maintain and preserve value within Food Solutions, APAC business and focus management on the most significant risks and opportunities.

Partner with various stakeholders to support new business activities including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, business transactions, tax and customs issues, monitoring the performance of the new acquired business and providing resolutions to limit risks.

You will provide strategic leadership, development and talent management for direct reports and their organization, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting.

You will also coordinate subordinate managers and supervisors in selecting staff to align with current and future needs of the organization.

Lead the design, development and implementation of value-added business analytics and seeks external benchmarking to provide insights to drive targeted actions.

Partners closely with other functions and business managers to ensure strategies are accomplished, leveraging accounting and finance resources for key support, information and data.

Lead APAC PMO team to drive the business group's strategic initiatives, prioritization and development of a roadmap.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Confirmed ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and concise manner, enabling improved decision making and deeper business insight
Experience integrating and interpreting disparate sources of data by leveraging a broad range of analytical data tools, statistical methodologies and predictive modeling techniques
Experience in international business management and issues, including global supply chains, multiple currency environments, commodity and financial risk
Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
Master's degree or other post-secondary degree in finance, economics or accounting
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
