Director of Business Development - Non destructive Testing (NDT)
Tera-X is Non-destructive (NDT) start up and is seeking for a Director of
Business Development

This position will work closely with CEO to identify new customers in target market, nurture relationships with prospective customers, and expand the company's business development efforts.

More specifically, we are looking for a director of Business development for period of 6-12 months to assist us in developing our business model and go to market strategy.


  • Obtain industry and customer insights, identify trends and opportunities, develop impactful growth initiatives, and drive the strategic plan to increase Keysight in the NDT market shares.
  • Conducting architectural assessments to create strategies and roadmaps
  • Identify, screen and qualify new customer partnerships and opportunities that match strategic plan and Customer Value Proposition
  • Advise across hardware, software, data analysis and be comfortable working with stakeholders in these disciplines
  • Commercial acumen to understand requirements and formulate realistic and robust solutions while appreciating and managing risk appropriately.
  • Continually research and network to collect information of prospects, leads, opportunities, and competitors.
  • Maintain productive relationships with NDT institutes and related academic and private equity organizations.
  • Begin networking within the industry (i.e. maintain contacts and relationships with clients once engagements are complete)
Job Qualifications

  • MBA/Business or Engineering degree with experience in the areas of business development, strategic planning, and complex negotiations in BtoB environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and goaloriented.
  • Independent and has an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine ability to develop relationships with internal and external customer to develop a final product.
