Learning Objectives:

Intern will have exposure to

• Development of skills in operational process management and improvement.
• Process enhancement through automation and business IT integration.
• General knowledge in corporate and banking risk awareness, service fulfilment and regulatory compliance.

Job Description:

• Shadowing & Learning from Senior Staff: Observing and learning from experienced bank operational personnel to gain a better understanding of the department's functions.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline operational processes and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Assisting with special projects or tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Banking Knowledge: Familiarity with basic OCBC deposit products and services and industry regulations are preferred.
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using common software applications such as MS office.
• Communication skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with colleagues.
• Sound time management, flexibility and adaptability.
