Description
The Assistant Facility Managers shall hold an approved diploma in

estate management, building maintenance, architectural, quantity

surveying, civil/ structural/ mechanical or electrical engineering,

landscaping from a local polytechnic or equivalent, and with at least

three (3) years relevant experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Attend to user's request and complaints;
  • Administer and manage MOE term contractors;
  • Plan, schedule and supervise maintenance programme for building works, M&E works/services and housekeeping services.
  • Conduct regular inspection of the schools to ensure that the premises are in satisfactory and serviceable condition and properly maintained.
  • Evaluate and carry out joint measurement with contractors for their claims
  • Carry out routine inspections on M&E systems, Domestic Equipment and building and civil engineering components
  • Certify and endorse payments claims from Contractors;
  • Call quotations, evaluating and recommending to MOE for works outside the maintenance contracts; provide technical report if necessary.
  • Assist in technical, energy, safety, cleaning audits as per contractual requirements.
  • Manage GR&R, improvement progress from implementation to handover and update to the team lead and project team where information is required.
  • Seek FMs, Project Team, Team Lead' advice when procedures and constraints are encountered during the process of improvement works and GR&R.
  • Assist the FM and Team Lead where assistance is deemed necessary by the management.
