High Growth Omnichannel Consumer Products Company

Remote Europe

We are partnering with a founder led consumer products business operating at meaningful scale across multiple sales channels. The company has built a strong marketplace presence and is expanding across DTC, wholesale, and retail.

As the business continues to grow, leadership is investing in strengthening financial infrastructure, increasing operational discipline, and building a finance function capable of supporting the next phase of scale.

This is a senior, hands on leadership role with a clear pathway toward broader CFO responsibility over time.

The Role

This is an operationally focused VP Finance position. The mandate is to bring structure, clarity, and predictability to a fast moving omnichannel business.

You will work closely with executive leadership to improve reporting accuracy, strengthen internal controls, enhance forward visibility, and support disciplined, profitable growth.

Core Responsibilities

Financial Integrity and Discipline

• Strengthen reporting processes, forecasting accuracy, and cash management

• Improve internal controls and reduce avoidable errors through better systems and accountability

• Oversee accounting operations and ensure reliable financial reporting

Channel and Operational Finance

• Develop clear visibility into product and channel level profitability

• Support inventory planning, cost optimisation, and margin improvement initiatives

• Partner with leadership on operational decision making across marketplace, DTC, wholesale, and retail

Systems and Infrastructure

• Improve financial systems and reporting cadence

• Reduce manual dependency through process improvement and automation

• Build scalable financial infrastructure to support growth

Cash Flow and Planning

• Enhance forward looking financial planning

• Strengthen working capital discipline

• Support thoughtful capital allocation decisions

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a lean finance team

• Establish clear ownership, accountability, and performance standards

• Help shape the structure of the function as the company scales

Ideal Profile

• Experience leading finance within a complex ecommerce or omnichannel consumer business

• Strong controllership foundation combined with commercial judgement

• Hands on operator comfortable working close to inventory, cost structure, and margin drivers

• Comfortable in founder led, high accountability environments
