Our client is a renowned and listed commodity/agri trading conglomerate.

For this role, you are part of the trade control/ middle office/ product control team preparing the Sugar trading desk.

You will work on Daily & Monthly PnL reports, perform monthly reconciliation with accounting, and coordinating interacting with colleagues in the overseas offices.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Maintain Forex position report and monitor exposure closely
  • Maintain futures book and reconciliations
  • Provide support and exercise oversight controls of the overseas trading offices
  • Update trade details and generate daily marktomarket report
  • Prepare regular Profit and Loss reports and ensure accurate reconciliation
  • Analyse key drivers of Profit and Loss and liaise with traders to reconcile variances
  • Prepare data for month end closing
  • Assist/Support Accounting Entries at month end
  • Assist/prepare accounting data for month end closing

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting /Finance/Economics or any businessrelated degree

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or trade control/product control preferably gained in a commodity trading company
