Description

Our eDiscovery team sits within the Data & Technology practice which is one of seven practices focused on client delivery services across the Firm.


Responsibilities

  • Focus on delivering high quality data preparation and processing capabilities as part of our holistic eDiscovery offering
  • Take ownership of our requirement to deliver high volume data processing, while maintaining timely delivery schedules and error free results
  • Perform and manage multiple concurrent engagements, while ensuring quality and internal/external customer service is of the highest level
  • Maintain and develop our standard operation procedures, data intake, and data processing workflows
  • Continually assess the suitability of existing and emerging technology, in order to complement and/or replace as required
  • Maintain a current understanding of ecommerce data formats and how best to prepare / process these for legal review

Specific General Managerial Tasks Include

  • Manage the finances of each engagement including developing, documenting, and tracking project budgets, adjusting budgets as appropriate, communicating changes in budgets internally and to the client, and managing the revenue forecasting and invoicing process
  • Manage risk throughout engagement by evaluating quality control measures and documentation throughout engagement, strategizing to fix mistakes, communicating challenges, and escalating issues internally as appropriate
  • Mentor, lead, and delegate tasks to junior grade colleagues to support their training and professional development with the goal of creating an exciting leveraged, team environment that offers challenging opportunities and support to all employees and is poised for continued expansion and success
  • Develop business development skills and contribute to the sales process by building relationships with current and potential future clients, demonstrating firm technology to potential clients, and providing supporting documentation, including proposals and cost estimates, regarding our offerings

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Mandatory certification in Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) with at least of one other eDiscovery certification (e.g. Nuix, Brainspace, Intella or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience in a legal and/or technology advisory capacity
  • Team player who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fastpaced environment with mínimal supervision
  • Prior experience as a team lead overseeing computer forensics and eDiscovery matters.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and ability to interact confidently with senior management and lawyers/partners
  • Advanced decision making and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with analytics, litigation readiness, and predictive coding
  • Must be able to travel at short notice for work, which could involve a few weeks at a time as engagement duration can range from a week to months.
