About our client: Our client is a sub-contractor company specializing in Structural and Architectural works.

About the role:

• Formulating and updating safety policies and procedures in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Act requirements
• Ensuring that safety policies are communicated effectively to all employees
• Identifying and assessing potential hazards in the workplace
• Conducting regular risk assessments and recommending measures to mitigate identified risks . Providing safety training to employees on a regular basis
• Conducting orientation programs for new employees to familiarize them with safety protocols
• Performing regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify safety hazards
• Conducting safety audits to ensure compliance with WSH standards
• Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine the root causes
• Developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions based on investigation findings . Keeping abreast of changes in safety regulations in Singapore
• Ensuring that the company remains in compliance with WSH acts
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned which is necessary for the execution of the project

About you:

• Possess a minimum Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety Management or related field
• Possess valid MOM registered WSHO, NEA registered ECO and PUB Registered ECMO license
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in WSHO in building and civil construction preferably in HDB, Condo, School and Factory
• Good knowledge and understanding of government regulation pertaining to Occupational Safety Health and Environment
• Crisis management capability
• Good communication skills and team player
