    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at Funding Societies. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of experts in a collaborative and innovative environment.

    In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and providing insights that drive business decisions.


    What you will do:
    Model Development & Deployment
    Design, build, and productionise advanced machine learning models for credit scoring, risk profiling, fraud detection, and customer segmentation.
    Calibrate and enhance existing scoring logic, model parameters, and business rules to improve predictive performance and business impact.
    Ensure all models are interpretable, robust, and aligned with regulatory and operational standards.

    Analytical Insights & Impact
    Perform deep-dive analyses to uncover trends and actionable insights to improve model performance and product strategy.
    Translate findings into clear, data-driven narratives for business stakeholders, supporting decisions with strong analytical justification.
    Develop self-serve tools, dashboards, and model monitoring frameworks to ensure transparency and measurable impact.

    Model Infrastructure & MLOps
    Build and maintain scalable model pipelines and infrastructure to support the end-to-end lifecycle: training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
    Automate workflows to reduce operational overhead and enhance reproducibility and governance of models in production.

    Leadership & Mentorship
    Mentor junior data scientists and analysts through structured guidance and technical reviews.
    Lead high-impact data science initiatives from problem scoping to final delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and alignment with strategic priorities.

    Requirements

    5+ years of experience in data science, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
    Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
    Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning.
    Expert in credit modelling and risk management would be an added advantage
