- 10+ years of handson technical design, implementation or consulting experience & within that 5+ years of experience in customer/partner facing senior technical positions within solution architecture or technical sales teams, and enterprise solution selling experience.
- Broad based technology experience including: cloud migration, cloud infrastructure, relational databases, NoSQL databases, analytics, networking, security, storage, compute, continuous deployment, containers, and management and monitoring.
- Experience leading architecture for public cloud migrations (AWS, Azure or GCP) and multitower global customer transformations in areas of mass migrations and application modernization.
- Demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development
- Strong leadership capabilities, having the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of customers or partners, across multiple disciplines, strong presentation and written communication skills; high degree of comfort with technical and Executive audiences.
- Engaging with Clevel executives to inspire, define and execute on Enterprise cloud migration and modernization strategies showing thoughtleadership and a 'can do' approach to enterprise migrations, including leading many such engagements working alongside account teams as mentoring and coaching opportunity.
- Lead transformational change in large Enterprise customers in their journey to the cloud, including discovery, readiness assessment, migration planning, tool selection, and migration execution.
- Defining and executing on the technology migration strategy by engaging highly technical teams within AWS (other Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, Professional services consultants and consulting/managed services partners) to define migrations and modernization pathways.
- Assessing migration feasibility, identifying dependencies and overcoming obstacles.
- Engaging with development, infrastructure, security and IT operations teams at a customer and identifying repeatable patterns and architectures for cloud migrations and modernizations.
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
