To sustain our growth, we have an exciting Senior Legal Counsel opportunity to join our highly successful global team.

    Role Profile:

    As our newly appointed Senior Legal Counsel you will provide high quality and timely legal advice across all business areas with a focus on Clinigen products and services. Responsible for the JAPAC region you will be working with our other offices in Sydney, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, China and Japan.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate overall corporate objectives and support strategy while ensuring compliance with applicable law and regulations.
    • To act with the highest integrity at all times and in line with the Company handbook, Clinigen's values and culture, to provide a best in class service.
    • Set appropriate priorities with clients and deliver results within agreed timelines.
    • Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including but not limited to manufacturing and supply agreements and distribution agreements.
    • Oversee compliance and manage risk including disputes and litigation proceedings on a cross-border basis.
    • Assisting in driving key global projects.
    • Working closely with business stakeholders to identify business opportunities.
    • Provide commercial, regulatory, privacy and advertising advice.
    • Provide advice in relation to the company's interactions with HCPs, HCOs and patient advocacy groups/organisations.
    • Support of Clinigen products and licensed products, and advice in relation to company's relationships with third party distributors.

    Requirements

    • Qualified Lawyer.
    • Private practice training and post-qualification experience with leading law firm.
    • Experience of in-house legal department ideally in the pharma/biotech sector.
    • Min 5 years PQE with demonstratable experience of providing legal advice in a highly-regulated environment.
    • Self-motivated, well organised, proactive and pragmatic.
    • Excellent communication skills and a team player.
    • Logical minded with an eye for detail.
    • Capacity for periodic travel in the JAPAC region is a requirement of this role.
