Our client is a Medical Devices firm and they are looking for an Accounts Payable Executive to join them.
About the job
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be in charge of the full accounts payable function, intercompany reconciliation, and journal entries to bolster the Finance & Accounting Team's efforts in AP and other reporting functions. Ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors, preparing and reviewing Balance Sheet, P&L schedules, and bank reconciliations, as well as handling tax-related matters including GST, import duty, withholding tax, and corporate income tax returns are also key responsibilities. Additionally, maintaining fixed asset and inventory registers, liaising with external stakeholders such as auditors and tax agents, and ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and accounting standards are crucial aspects of the role. Participation in annual fixed assets verification and stocktake exercises, along with fulfilling any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Finance Manager. The ideal candidate is one who is a good teamplayer, meticulous and adaptable.
Skills and experience required
You should possess a recognised accounting degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable.
