[What the role is]

SENIOR / EXECUTIVE / SOFTWARE ENGINEER, SOFTWARE/CLOUD ENGINEERING

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of a dynamic team to drive adoption of new technologies in LTA through the development of platforms, applications and services, while building internal tech stack and capabilities to further anchor and proliferate these technologies for operational usage.

The role will encompass:
. Responsible for the designing of cloud infrastructure, deployment of applications to cloud, and the management of cloud environment to enable SaaS for platforms, applications and services
. Support software development of customised application modules as part of cross-platform app development
. Identify and explore suitable technologies and solutions to integrate as part of development and adoption roadmap
. Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage desired requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements

[What we are looking for]

. Tertiary Qualification in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
. Strong in software development on Web, Mobile or Desktop applications with various languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, )
. Knowledge in deploying applications to Cloud (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) through open platforms (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
. Experience in designing infrastructure for cloud applications
. Experience in DevOps tools and practices with Agile software development methodology
. Familiar with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers (e.g. Apache) deployment
. Understanding of AR/VR concepts and development tools (e.g. Unity, OpenXR, ) will be advantageous
. Excellent teamwork skills and able to collaborate in cross-functional team
. Independent and self-motivated contributor and passionate about software development
. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability convey key technical concepts with stakeholders
. Attention to detail with strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem solving skills
. Candidates with more experience might be considered for more senior roles
