    Roles & Responsibilities

    The candidate will support the Finance Department and report to the Executive Director. The Candidate will also work closely with the St. Andrew's Nursing Home Cluster Finance Head.

    Job Responsibilities

    · Oversee financial matters to ensure proper utilisation of funds, accountability and internal control

    · To approve disbursement of funds for authorised payment of expenses for maintenance and operation of the Nursing Home

    · Work closely with the Ministry of Health and AIC regarding submission of data sets to qualify for subvention and funding as well as with Social Work unit to send relevant documents to different funding agencies or programs which the residents are eligible, e.g. PGDAS, Interim Disability Assistance Program for the Elderly (IDAPE), Medifund, Community Health Assist Scheme, Medifund etc.

    · Prepare and monitor effective use of yearly budget

    · To prepare, interpret and analyse monthly financial statement and advise management on any unusual findings.

    · To set up and maintain a system of inventory and fixed asset control

    · To carry out credit policies to prevent bad debts

    · Participate in the formulation of financial policies

    · To review regularly the pricing, cost, and recommend changes in view of changing market forces

    . · To act as a liaison between external auditor and the nursing home.

    Job Requirement

    · Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

    · At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

    · Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Navision

    · Experience in the ILTC sector with Medifunds and subvention knowledge would be an added advantage

    · Preferably Manager specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.

    · Excellent working attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    · Must be hands on with operational mindset

    · Able to work in a fast paced environment
