ALG is currently recruiting for an
Operations Manager with our well-established Aerospace distribution client. This position is for a full-time permanent based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

The Operations Manager oversees the distribution warehouse and general operations activities for an assigned site or team.
Ensures operations are managed and staffed appropriately to meet organizational goals and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse and that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations, in the expected quantities.
Manage and oversee facilities, general maintenance, and environmental health and safety programs, and related projects and initiatives.
Work towards continuous improvement of all aspects of the Operations function; ensures the strategic vision and goals of the Company and the Operations organization are wellcommunicated.
Ensures employee performance outcomes and behaviors are in alignment.
Champions individual professional development within the team and makes time to mentor.
Empowers the team with what they need to complete their daily tasks via servant leadership principles; and ensures there is proper and complete communication between internal team members and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

At least a Diploma with 5 Years of Related Work Experience, including 3 Years Leadership Experience in a Distribution Environment.
Lean Management experience required with any supporting certification being highly advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in expanding organizational capabilities.
Jobrelated knowledge in general warehousing, transportation, and distribution practices, import/export compliance, and Environmental health and Workplace Safety Regulations.
Operationally competent in execution, planning, and scheduling control.
Problem solver & decision making.
