    Key Accountabilities

  • Work as Lead Safety & Risk Engineer on the consultancy project.
  • Lead a team of Safety & Risk consultants from the region to deliver the project scopes, such as HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, QRA, FERA, ERA, OBRA, Singapore Safety Case, Hazardous Area Classification, Passive Fire Protection, Fire and Gas Mapping, Human Factor Engineering, etc.
  • Based in Singapore.
  • 2 year contract with potential to convert to full time stuff based on the performance.
  • Based in project office in Singapore. Travel to the project site (in Singapore) may be required during construction stage.
  • Part time based on project needs.
  • About You:

    To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess a combination of work experience, skills and or qualifications in the following areas:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in process safety (either Senior or Principal position depending on the qualification and performance);
  • Experience in facilitation of HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA workshop
  • Experience in conducting process safety studies, such as QRA, FERA, OBRA, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Gaxcon RiskCurve, Gaxcon EFFECTS, DNV PHAST, DNV SAFETI.
  • Good understanding of Singapore QRA and Safety Case requirements.
  • Hands-on experience on loss prevention design for major refinery / petrochemical projects, such as Hazardous Area Classification, Passive Fire Protection, Firefighting System design
  • Familiar with Singapore and international codes and standards, such as SS532, SS634, IEC60079, IEC61508 / IEC 61511, EI15, etc.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
