    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in managing hotel photoshoots across all brand segments, including Luxury, Premium, and Select, within the APEC region (excluding China). This multifaceted position involves overseeing the entire shoot process, ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines, and actively seeking avenues for process enhancement and technological integration to optimize outcomes.

    SCOPE OF WORK:

    Overall Project Management:

    • Strategize and execute comprehensive plans for hotel photoshoots, meticulously overseeing every phase from pre-production to final delivery.
    • Develop detailed project timelines, efficiently allocating resources and managing budgets to meet predetermined objectives.
    • Maintain an up-to-date registry of approved photographers/videographers in the market, continuously scouting for potential collaborators to expand the pool as needed.

    Creative Governance:

    • Serve as the primary liaison between the Continent Brand team, Area team, hotel staff, and external photographers/videographers, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of objectives.
    • Provide expert guidance on photography propping, styling, and angles, leveraging brand guidelines to achieve consistency and excellence across all deliverables.
    • Conduct thorough reviews of raw shots, offering constructive feedback to photographers to ensure the desired aesthetic and brand representation are achieved.
    • Scrutinize retouching work meticulously, verifying that it conforms meticulously to brand standards and elevates the overall visual appeal of the final output.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE:

    Education and Experience:

    • Highly preferential consideration will be given to candidates with a proven track record in Photography management, coupled with substantial experience in hotel operations and brand management.
    • Possession of marketing acumen is considered advantageous and may enhance the candidate's suitability for the role.
    • Proficiency in English is mandatory, with a strong preference for candidates proficient in reading and writing in additional Asian languages.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in project management, exhibiting a knack for meticulously planning, executing, and evaluating projects to ensure optimal outcomes.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and seamless liaison with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong adherence to brand guidelines and standards, coupled with the ability to uphold these throughout the creative process to maintain brand integrity.
    • Proven capability in sourcing and managing external vendors, particularly photographers and videographers, coupled with adept negotiation skills.
    • Innate creativity and a propensity for innovation, evidenced by the ability to conceive and implement groundbreaking solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Proficiency in basic computer skills is a prerequisite, with a demonstrated technical acumen in managing photography projects being highly desirable.
