Faststream is working with a reputable Global leading Ship Owner/Operator looking to grow their Chartering team.

This role is exciting because the role is looking for someone with strong Parceling strength and will be focusing on the Pacific routes.

Specializing in bulk carrier operations, the company is looking for someone who has proven track record in Parceling to join them and manage their own desk.

Roles and Responsibilities:

To arrange the transportation of cargoes by finding the appropriate ships, negotiating rates, and coordinating logistics with clients, ship owners, and brokers, cargo owners.

- responsible for managing the contracts between the ship owners and the customers, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.

Work closely and cohesively with the Operations team.

- have valuable experience in Chartering, particularly with Parceling (a proven track record would be an advantage)

Have the hunger to build and manage his/her own desk.

- should be familiar with Dry bulk and have handled a variety of vessels.
- driven, humble, team player, independent, strong communicator, willing to learn and confident.
