[What the role is]

SENIOR / EXECUTIVE/ ENGINEER, ASSET ENGINEERING SYSTEMS

[What you will be working on]


You will work closely with the Public Transit Operators (PTO), LTA design team and project engineers to facilitate the efficient delivery of Signalling, Communication and Control systems/equipment incorporating Design Build for Operation & Maintenance (DBfOM) considerations.

The aim is to achieve a high level of availability, operability, reliability maintainability and safety.

Depending on your experience and seniority, your responsibilities may encompass various tasks.

This includes reviewing requirements and providing insights into Design and Build for Operations & Maintenance, as well as Life Cycle Management for Signalling, Communication, and Control systems/equipment assets.

You'll be involved in evaluating the scope and justifications of Asset Modifications and Renewal proposals, ensuring they align with maintainability, supportability, and cost-effectiveness.

Additionally, overseeing asset enhancement plans, monitoring condition capabilities, and implementing corrective plans for asset failures will be part of your role.

Managing the transfer of assets between Operators and LTA, maintaining an accurate asset inventory, approving, and tracking configuration changes, and overseeing asset disposal throughout their service life are key aspects.

Conducting maintenance audits, asset condition audits, and reviewing asset management reports by Operators to uphold maintenance standards will also be integral to your responsibilities.

[What we are looking for]

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Systems, or Control Engineering discipline.
  • Relevant engineering experience in Signalling, Communication, Control, and Maintenance Management is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, creative problemsolving ability, good judgment, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a proficiency in written language.
  • Selfmotivated, resourceful, and a positive attitude.
