Job Purpose

To assist the DDI team in providing basic care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities (80%)

In the outpatient setting, our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting in daily operations by performing various duties.
• Providing instructions to patients before procedures.
• Assisting patients in change rooms as needed.
• Lifting, moving, and transporting patients safely.
• Accompanying patients to procedure rooms.
• Attending to patients' queries appropriately.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Ensuring linen is changed daily and blankets are available in patient rooms.
• Monitoring and replenishing gowns as needed.

In the inpatient setting, our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Calling housekeeping for terminal cleaning or disinfection of patient rooms.
• Removing and replacing bedpans and urinals for inpatients.
• Answering patient call bells and providing assistance when needed.
• Providing good patient care and being attentive to their needs.
• Observing changes in patients' conditions and escalating concerns when necessary.
• Assisting radiographers and nurses with patient transfers.
• Preparing patients for imaging and procedures.
• Conducting on-the-job training for new healthcare assistants.
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to patient data protection guidelines.
• Tracking inventory stock levels and notifying supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.

Secondary Responsibilities (20%)

Our ideal candidate will also be responsible for:

• Maintaining general housekeeping of procedure areas.
• Performing any other duties assigned by the radiographer-in-charge or on-duty supervisor.

Job Specifications/Requirements

• A minimum of GCE N levels or higher.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to take initiative and work well within a team.

$25,000 - $35,000 per annum. Estimated salary range based on location and industry standards.
