Description

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct regular inspections of lifting operations to identify potential hazards.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Stay uptodate with local and international regulations and standards related to lifting equipment and operations.
Ensure that all lifting activities comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Assist in the selection of appropriate lifting equipment based on requirements of specific projects.
Evaluate load capacities and determine the suitability of equipment for lifting tasks.
Supervise and coordinate lifting operations, providing guidance to crane operators and rigging teams.
Conduct training sessions for personnel involved in lifting activities.
Maintain accurate records of lifting equipment inspections, maintenance activities, and operational details.
Ensure that documentation is in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement emergency response plans for lifting accidents or equipments failures.
Coordinate and respond to liftingrelated emergencies promptly.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to plan lifting operations.
Ensure that lifting activities align with project timelines and objectives.
Identify oppotunities for improving lifting processes, safety measures, and overall efficiency.
Implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of lifting operations.
Maintain effective communication with project teams, site personnel, and other relevant stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on lifting activities, safety performance, and potential issues.
Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and functionality of lifting equipment.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Degree in Engineering

Minimum of 5 years experience in the constrcution fields
Attained Appointed Person for Lifting Operations certification is mandatory for this position.
Technically expert and highly knowledgable in lifting of heavy structures.
Strong understanding of lifting equipment, safety protocols, and the ability to manage and coordinate lifting activities effectively.
