What You Will Do:


  • Develops and implements maintenance plans, including regular, preventative, predictive, and shutdown maintenance to help ensure all equipment, machinery, and processes are in working order and performing as needed
  • Plans daily maintenance work to ensure all equipment, machinery, and processes are in working order and performing as needed. Prepare daily work schedule for the use of Plant Engineering supervisors in making work assignments for technicians
  • Updates the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system to ensure data is accurate
  • Utilize CMMS to review and analyze incoming work orders. Identify materials, technicians time, priorities, and other requirements for scheduling and completing the work
  • Enter, plan, update and close shop work orders in the CMMS for accurate accounting and record keeping
  • Develop maintenance plan for scheduling, execution, and follow up of the following: regular maintenance, preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), shutdown maintenance; work with plant engineers, contractors, and vendors
  • Plans maintenance jobs, to include the following: issuing and reviewing work orders for CMMS, reviewing parts and tools required, and providing detailed work instructions
  • Cocoordinate, supervise and plan maintenance activities carried out by the contractors for all related equipment and system in order to meet the required specifications and standards
  • Allocate works to technicians and ensure all jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards & SOPs
  • Collaborates with Maintenance Team leader on planning labor for all repair and maintenance projects
  • Plan labor for major downtime
  • Organize and maintain spare parts for nonstock parts needed in your area
  • Provide support as needed to other areas onsite to cover for absences or the need for additional resources into those areas
  • Use data and statistical problemsolving techniques to improve the plant reliability as measured by key performance indicators while reducing unit costs
  • Execute all related preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance to safe practices as defined in the code of practice and/or authority requirement and guidelines
  • Perform root cause analysis on equipment failure and provide recommendations to resolve technical issues which may also arise from vibration, oil and other analysis as part of predictive maintenance program

Minimum Requirements:


  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in the mechanical, process instrumentation and electrical trades, preferably in process plant environments.

Preferred Requirements:


  • Must be able to respond to call outs within 30 to 60 minutes of notification
  • Having good knowledge of installation, commissioning, maintenance and trouble shooting of a variety of large and complex static and rotating equipment.
  • Excellent mechanical skills, broad knowledge of maintenance concepts and techniques
  • Minimum 3 years of technical proficiency with CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
  • SAP preferred
  • Strong Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to be flexible and adaptable, and to change priorities and direction as needed, allowing for optimum effectiveness
  • Proven troubleshooting, problemsolving, evaluative, and analytical skills; ability to anticipate problems and take necessary action to minimize likelihood and impact of problems
  • Excellent planning and directing skills, and ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety rules and regulations
