Roles & Responsibilities

Position Summary

Take charge of projects from the initial stages handed over by the tender/sales team
Define and structure PEPL's Scope of work, develop project schedules, and create comprehensive lists for document and material submissions, installation timings, and testing periods
Manage Document and Material submission lists and oversee the submission processes
Review and prepare technical drawings and documents for timely delivery to clients
Track submissions closely, liaise with clients for timely approvals, and ensure smooth material submission processes
Generate Purchase Requisitions for timely procurement of project materials, collaborate with the procurement team, subcontractors, and suppliers
Plan the required manpower at the construction site in collaboration with the Superintendent
Coordinate with the Superintendent, Construction Manager, and Site Supervisor for on-site activities, installation, testing, commissioning, and progress updates
Regularly update and maintain the Project schedule, prepare progress reports for both internal and client purposes on a weekly/monthly basis
Attend client meetings regularly, manage client expectations proactively by preparing necessary documentation, agendas, and meeting minutes
Effectively manage project costs within the allocated budget
Keep a detailed Change Order Log, proactively handle scope changes, and obtain customer validation before implementing any changes
Timely preparation of Progress Claims, follow-up for approvals, and maintenance of Progress Claim Summary reports
Escalate issues and challenges to the Project Manager and management for swift resolution
Collaborate with Customers, Consultants, Owners, Third Parties, Suppliers, and internal teams for successful project execution
Coordinate and manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of essential equipment
Conduct pre-punch list walkthroughs with the Project Manager and Superintendent
Coordinate with the site team to address and rectify punch list defects
Provide training to clients on equipment operation as needed
Oversee the collection of all Handover and completion documents
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations during project execution
Facilitate essential safety training for project and site team members
Adhere to the PQP document guidelines throughout the project

Requirements

Holder of Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a similar field
Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and precision
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
