    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities

    • Be responsible for the successful execution and technical delivery of projects that meet scope, timeline and budget, in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Drive the data, design and solution discussions with vendor, technology team and user groups.
    • Lead multi-vendor teams to successfully deliver solutions, manage multi-vendor teams to work amicably to support the bank's commitments
    • Provide status update related to technical delivery to Project Manager
    • Partner with Solution and Enterprise Architects to deliver technical innovations in support of emerging business needs and to progress these ideas from concepts to working solutions
    • Partner with Architects and Development Lead to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards
    • Work with Test manager to formulate comprehensive system test plan aligned with project scope/Change request, quality requirements and targets
    • Identify and raise risks and issues affecting the project, including financial or operation and proactively managing them, with timely escalation to relevant parties where necessary.
    • Manage relationships across all business lines and with external parties, including escalation, expectation, conflict and scope changes to ensure timely delivery of assigned activities.
    • Organise and chair governance meetings, including preparation of meeting materials and minutes.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or other relevant disciplines; PMP certified preferred
    • Technical Manager with more than 8 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services industry
    • Good and proven fundamental knowledge of regional project implementation for large-scale, multi-interfaces applications
    • Experience in delivering projects in full Software Development Life Cycle / Agile methodologies
    • A strong and assertive communicator in speaking and writing
    • Have good organizational skills and stakeholder management skills, with experience at coordinating multiple stakeholders in a diverse organization
    • Be a self-starter, and able to work independently
    • Able to work within ambiguity
    • Have strong execution ability and able to see end-to-end closure of issues
    • Demonstrate good initiative in issue resolution
    • Result-oriented person with focus on delivery
