    The Actuarial Business Management team is looking for a self-motivated Actuarial Manager, that seeks to leverage on their actuarial expertise to drive business value. We are looking for a candidate who is obsessed with delivering value, forward-thinking, and excited to contribute the success to the team.

    Responsibilities

  • Prepare management reports and insightful actuarial results to support CFO and Appointed Actuary in delivering business value
  • Understand business planning and forecasting key financial metrics for the Singapore business (Sales, NBV, Core Earnings) and explain business drivers versus actuals
  • Work closely with other actuarial sub-teams (IFRS 17, Local, Inforce Management, Par and Reinsurance) to ensure consistency and build strong relationships with distribution channels
  • Lead the NBV reporting function to deliver monthly and quarterly results and respond to questions from local management and Regional and Group stakeholders
  • Provide guidance to develop team members, building strong team culture in a high performance team

  • What we are looking for

  • 6-8 years of working experience
  • Strong understanding of profit metrics: NBV, IFRS 17 Earnings
  • Prior experience in valuation, reporting and/or business planning
  • Good progress on internationally recognized Actuarial examination
  • Dynamic mindset to embrace change for better process and to support business development
